Trajan House is an office in Oxford for people working on major global problems. Forethought and the Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA) are based here, and we provide space for staff from various other high-impact organisations. The office is managed by CEA. We look for organisations and individuals who are thinking carefully and earnestly about some of the world’s most pressing problems, and whose work fits with our principles.
By creating a workspace for people whose work focuses on making the world a better place, we hope to help humanity become better prepared for what’s ahead. Many of our residents work on global catastrophic risks, AI safety, effective altruism community building and biosecurity, amongst other cause areas.
Our spaces are set up to provide focus, increase productivity, and reduce hassle so that those who are working on important problems can do their best work. We also host events where residents and external guests can share their work and find collaborators.
We host organisations in Oxford working on AI safety, effective altruism community-building, and global priorities research.
Hotdesking and dedicated desks for individuals doing high-impact work. Apply here.
